From Gold Stars to Crystal Honors, La Porte ISD Communications recognized among Texas’ best

The La Porte ISD Communications Department has been recognized for excellence on a statewide level, earning nine Gold Star Awards, a Best of Category award and a prestigious Crystal Commendation from the Texas School Public Relations Association.
The Crystal Commendation, the highest honor awarded by TSPRA and considered the best in Texas for school communications, recognized the department’s outstanding achievements in marketing and strategic communications.
In addition to the Crystal Commendation, La Porte ISD received nine Gold Star Awards highlighting excellence across multiple categories, including photography, flyers, and advertisements. These awards recognize exceptional quality, creativity, and effectiveness in school public relations and communications efforts.
“We are honored that our efforts have been recognized at the highest level in Texas. This reflects the incredible work of our communications team and the strong support we receive from our district leadership, campuses and community,” said Adam J. Holland, director of communications and community relations. “Our goal is always to share the stories of our students and staff in a way that builds pride, trust, and connection.”
TSPRA’s annual awards program celebrates outstanding work in educational communications across Texas and recognizes districts that demonstrate innovation, strategic messaging and meaningful community engagement.
