Austin Goetz, a 2025 graduate of The Academy of Viola DeWalt High School, has been named to the 2025 Dexter U.S. Bowling Congress High School All-American Team.

He is among only 10 bowlers (five male and five female) in the country to receive the honor and will be recognized on July 13 at a Professional Women's Bowling Association Tournament in Green Bay, WI, prior to which he will compete in the USBC Junior Gold Championships.

Goetz, who has twice represented La Porte High School in the State Bowling Championships, will continue his education and bowling career this fall at Newman University in Wichita, KS.
