Five La Porte High School Lady Dawg basketball players capped the 2025-26 season with All-District honors, including a district superlative and two players who were named to 20-5A’s First Team. Two additional players were named to the 20-5A Second Team, and six players earned Academic All-District accolades

Senior Jakayla Glover was selected as the district’s Most Valuable Player, while Kaia Greenawalt and Sophia Rodriguez garnered First Team honors. Isabelle Rodriguez and Joycella Riggs rounded out the selections, grabbing spots on the district’s Second Team.

The 2025-26 varsity team, under the leadership of Head Coach Elisha Thompson, won the District, Bi-District , Area, Regional Semi-Final and Regional championships and earned its second State Semifinal berth in program history
