Cory Ruben a junior guard on the Bulldogs varsity basketball team, has been named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches 5A Region 3 UIL All-Region team.
TABC awards are nominated by Texas High School basketball coaches and voted on by Regional coordinators and committees.
“Cory is one of the most naturally gifted players I have had the privilege of coaching,” said Kohl Neel, basketball head coach. “He can turn it on in the blink of an eye. He truly loves being on the court playing basketball and it shows through his play.”
The honor is Ruben’s second since the Bulldogs wrapped up their season. He was also named to the 22-5A All-District first team.
