Allergies, Carb. Counts, & Special Diets


Below, you will find the allergen and carbohydrate content for many of our menu items.  This information is updated as menu changes occur, but may not fully represent the content of our menus or a la carte offerings.  For prepackaged a la carte items, the best source of information is the item’s nutrition information facts panel.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at (281) 604-6950.

Our goal is to provide healthy, safe food to the students of LPISD.  In light of this, please be aware of the following important information:

Many manufacturers provide information annually regarding the allergen and carbohydrate content of their products.  Some update their information less frequently.  Do not assume that the allergen/carbohydrate information accurately represents the nutrient content of a meal or food item.  Additionally, our distributors may substitute items as needed.  Substitutions will occur without notice and may contain different allergens and carbohydrate content than the regular product.  The school nutrition department cannot be responsible for ensuring that a child’s meal is free of allergens.  Students with life-threatening allergies are encouraged to bring meals from home.

Students with life threatening food allergies or disabilities requiring approved diet modifications may have an alert posted in the cafeteria point of sale (cash register).
