Bulldog divers, coach make big splash during 2017-18 campaign

C.J., a junior, was named Overall Best District Athlete at the District 22-6A diving meet and was chosen Best Diver at the Region 6-6A meet. He placed second in district and first at regionals, qualifying for the state meet, but was unable to compete due to injury.

Allen, a freshman, won the district meet, where he was named Best District 22-6A Diver. He placed second at the regional competition, qualifying for state, and placed 11th at the state contest Feb. 16 and 17 in Austin.

Berg earned recognition as District 22-6A Boys Swim Coach of the Year and District 22-6A Boys Diving Coach of the Year. He also was selected as Region 6-6A Male Diving Coach of the Year.
