Library Policies
Student must have a current picture Student ID Card in order to check out Library materials.
| Two Week Books | $.05 per day, per book |
| Current Magazines | $.10 per period |
| Other Magazines | $.10 per day |
| Reference Books | $.10 per period |
Charges do not accrue over weekends and holidays.
A file of book suggestions, kept throughout the year, will furnish material for selections when book orders are due. Many vendors will take these "consideration" files and turn them into proposed orders, saving the librarian time. These suggestions may include new titles and thematic topics, or they may indicate needed replacements and/or duplicates. Suggestions for a majority of these should come from recommended sources, such as:
If gift or memorial books are accepted by the library, it should be with the understanding that the librarian has the choice of adding them to the school collection, sending them to some other collection which could better use them, or discarding them. Most patrons wishing to donate or memorial books are happy to take suggestions from the librarian regarding appropriate or needed titles.
