Mrs. Judy Hicks has been a counselor at La Porte High School since 1995. Before then she was a counselor at Lomax Junior High for six years, taught at La Porte Junior High for three years, and taught at Sam Rayburn High School for four years prior to that.
Mrs. Hicks received her B.S. Ed. degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her major areas of concentration were Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Services. Her minor areas of concentration were Sociology and Psychology.
She earned her M.S. Ed. from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Her major areas of concentration were Secondary Education and Special Education.
