Mr. Ernest Stevenon was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 11, 1948.
He received his bachelor's degree from Paul Quinn College in 1965 and his master's degree from Prairie View A & M University in 1977.
Mr. Stevenson worked as an educator in Houston ISD from 1970 through 1980.
He was an assistant principal for the Ft. Bend ISD from 1981 until 1996 and then as an associate principal from 1996 until 1999.
Mr. Stevenson came to the La Porte ISD in 2000 as an assistant principal at the high school.
