WHEN: Tuesday, March 23; Tuesday, April 6; Tuesday, April 13; and Tuesday, April 20.
Times: 2 pm to 3 pm and 6 pm to 7 pm each Tuesday
COST: free WHY: To assist interested students in a better understanding of the financial aid application and disbursement process for the Fall 2004 term. WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED: Each session will explain the financial aid process at SJC. Topics will include a broad introduction to financial aid including requirements and deadline dates, review the financial aid application, review the federal and state programs, an overview on available scholarships and discuss financial and scholarships scams. There will also be a questions and answer period during each of the 8 sessions. We hope to be able to dismiss many of the misconceptions concerning the financial aid process. Door prizes will be awarded during each session. |
