School Board Elections
Board members are elected at-large for three-year terms. They are volunteers who serve without pay. Board elections in La Porte are usually held the first Saturday in May. Board members serve staggered terms so that there are always experienced members on the board.
For 2004, La Porte ISD will hold a joint election with the Cities of La Porte, Morgan's Point, and Shoreacres on the third Saturday in May (May 15th)
