Environmental Guidelines
The following guidelines are set in place to better protect the health and well being of the students of the
La Porte Independent School District
The guidelines cover environmental concerns ranging from heat and lightning to air pollution.
The guidelines are based on information and policies published by the National Athletic Trainers Association, the National Lightning Safety Institute, and the Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission.
These guidelines are designed to first, insure the health and well being of any La Porte ISD student who participates in any activity where a dangerous condition may present itself and second, to instruct and guide those persons responsible for the students on procedures to use in
